2010-11: Named a Saint captain for the 2011-12 season, Jake Drewiske was one of only four players to play in all 40 games for the Saints in the 2010-11 season and matched his career high for goals with six and set a career high in points with 17.He scored his first goal of the season at Ferris State and scored both goals in a 2-2 tie with Quinnipiac. Two of his six goals came on the power play. He also had 23 blocked shots for the Saints and was also solid on faceoffs.
2009-10: Named a Saint assistant captain for 2010-11 at the end of his sophomore season, Jake Drewiske played in 38 games as a junior and scored six goals and had three assists. He scored his first collegiate goal as part of a two-goal night in a 4-3 win at Crkson and also had a two goal night in a 5-2 home win over Brown. He scored his first playoff goal in the first round series against Clarkson and also had a goal in the win at Colgate which sent the Saints to the ECAC semifinals for the second straight year.
2008-09: Jake Drewiske played in 18 games for the Saints as a rookie
and finished the year with six assists. He earned his first collegiate
point with an assist in a 4-1 home win over New Hampshire and had his
first collegiate multi-point game with two assists in a 6-1 win at
Brown.
The team captain of the Sioux Falls Stampede in 2007 and 2008, he was a member of the 2005-06 Anderson Cup Championship team and the 2006-07 Clark Cup National Tier I championship team. He had 10 goals and 11 assists last year.
Personal: The son of David and Karen Drewiske, Jacob earned all conference honors as a junior and senior in football and also played two years of baseball. An honor roll student, he was a two-year captain in football. He enjoys hunting, fishing and movies in his spare time.
