Saints Conclude Fall Season at Head of the Fish

Oct. 30:  The novice men posted strong showings as the St. Lawrence University crew team concluded its fall season at the Head of the Fish in Saratoga, NY on Saturday.  

"Saturday was a great way to close the season for the novice men" said Head Coach George Repicky.  "They are a hard working and talented group."

In the Novice 8+ event, the first eight negotiated the 3,400 meter course in 11:43.58, finishing in fourth place out of 26 boats.  The second eight posted a 10th place finish with a time of 12:42.28.  Williams took the top spot, while Marist and Colgate were second and third, respectively.

In the novice 4+ event, the Saints earned a second place finish out of 20 boats with a time of 12:58.18.  Williams was first with a time of 12:40.51.    

In the varsity 4+ event, the Saints finished in a time of 12:37.93, earning an 8th place finish out of 32 boats.  The varsity 8+ finished in 12th place in its event.
