Hoets was a stand-out field hockey and ice hockey player, captaining the varsity field hockey squad during her senior season. The Westport, CT native earned All-County honors three times for field hockey and one for ice hockey and was the field hockey team's Defensive MVP two years. Jeannette was also the Most Valuable Player of the ice hockey team as well.
