Plattsburgh Beats Saints 11-6

Weekend Series Game Days Switched
The Skidmore sereis will be played Sunday and Monday instead of starting on Saturday, due to predicted poor conditions on Saturday. Games Sunday will start at noon and Monday at 1 p.m. with Sunday's games a seven inning and a nine inning game and Monday two seven inning games.
BRENNAN LEADS SAINTS VS. PLATTSBURGH
Bryan Brennan went three for four and scored three runs, but Plattsburgh State improved to 21-4 with a 11-6 win over St. Lawrence in a non-league baseball game Tuesday afternoon.
Plattsburgh outhit the Saints 18-5 in the game and built an 8-1 lead en route to its second win over SLU this season. The Saints fall to 12-10 overall heading into a Liberty League home series against Union Saturday and Sunday.
The Saints took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first as Brennan led off with a double, went to third on a sacrifice by Carter Franz and scored on Ryan Duff's ground out. Plattsburgh came back wtih four in the bottom of the first, added a run in the bottom of the fifth and three more in the bottom of the seventh for its 8-1 lead.
Franz hit a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth and Duff drove in a second run on a groundout to cut it to 8-3, but Plattsburgh scored three in the bottom of the eighth for an 11-3 lead. A fielder's choice, an error and a bases loaded walk produced three more Saint runs in the top of the ninth.
Paul Piatelli took the loss for the Saints giving up four runs on isx hits in three innings of work. Matt DeLuca went four innings and Duff pitched the eighth.
