2012: Matt hit .287 as a designated hitter and catcher in his junior year, scoring 14 runs and driving in 19. He had three doubles and a homer among 25 hits and was one for one in steals.

2011: Matt had some key hits for the Saints as a sophomore, playing first base and as designated hitter. He played in 37 games, starting 34 and hit .237 with 24 hits in 102 at bats. he scored 15 runs and drove in 16 and had four sacrifice flies. He had a .987 fielding percentage with 147 putouts, nine assists and two errors.

2010: Matt DeLuca had an outstanding season for the Saints as a rookie and earned 2nd team Liberty League Designated Hitter honors. He also caught, pitched and played in the outfield for the Saints, hitting a team-best .365 in 24 games with 13 runs scored and 15 drvien in. He had 5 doubles and three homres among 27 hits for a .554 slugging percentage and was two for two in steals. He made just one error in 77 chances for a .987 fielding percentage and threw out five base runners.

A five-sport athlete in high school who played football, basketball, hockey and volleyball in addition to baseball, Matt was captain as a junior and senior in baseball and was MVP of both his high school and club teams. He also was captained the football, vasketball and volleyball teams. He was an Ontario Scholar and earned the Principal's Award.
