2012: Ethan had an excellent season at short with only eight errors in 225 chances and 34 double plays turned and also had some key performances as the plate as he hit .220, scoring 18 runs and driving in 12. He went five for six in steals.
2011: Ethan started every game at short for the Saints as a sophomore and while his average dipped to .202, he did score 15 runs and drive in 15, going eight for eight in steals. He had a .903 fielding percentage and was in on 16 rouble plays.
2010: Ethan had an excellent rookie season as the Saint shortstop, starting all 39 games and hitting .303 with 15 runs driven in. He had a .407 on base percentage and had six sacrifice bunts. He was successful on 10 of 11steals. Ethan had a .915 fielding percentage with 134 assists and was in on 29 double plays.
At Fayetteville-Manlius: Ethan captained the baseball and basketball teams and earned scholar-athlete awards in both sports. He was all league as a junior and senior in baseball. He was a member of the National Honor Society and the Science Honor Society.
