A consistent contender for conference honors with championship game appearances in four of the last five years, St. Lawrence University's baseball team will join neighboring rival Clarkson, Union College, the University of Rochester, Skidmore College, Vassar College and Rensselaer in pursuit of a Liberty League title and the automatic NCAA tournament berth at accompanies that title.

St. Lawrence enjoys the luxury of an artificial turf infield, four batting cages and bullpen with three mounds in the Leithead Field House, allowing them to start preparing in February for the 40-game spring schedule. The Ronald B. Stafford Fitness Center featuring a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning room, allows the Saints the finest equipment for off-season weight lifting and conditioning program.

Once the weather breaks in late March, St. Lawrence baseball will start playing on Tom Fay Field, a facility with an asymmetric outfield, two batting tunnels and triple-barrel bullpens.

The season traditionally starts with a trip to Ft. Myers, Fla., over spring break to take part in the Gene Cusic Classic where the Saints play 10-games over 10 days.

Once returning north, the team embarks on its Liberty League schedule, which includes back-to-back doubleheaders against league opponents and plays several non-league games to complete its regular season schedule.
