Feb. 12: The St. Lawrence University men's lacrosse team will open the 2013 campaign as the No. 20 team in the country, as the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced its annual preseason coaches' ranking on Monday.
Feb. 9: Freshman Spencer Patterson earned the outstanding track performer award as the St. Lawrence University men's indoor track and field team finished second in the 2013 Liberty League indoor championship held at RIT on Saturday night.
Feb. 9: First Year Ella Martin and sophomore Divya Biswal earned the major meet awards with impressive multi-win performances, leading St. Lawrence University's women's indoor track and field team to its third straight Liberty League Indoor Track Championship at RIT Friday night.

Feb. 9: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie with Rensselaer on Saturday afternoon in Troy, NY. Senior captain Kelly Sabatine scored her 13th goal of the season in the third period to help the Saints earn a point in the conference standings.
Feb. 9: The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team battled back from a 15-point first-half deficit to take a one point lead with 5:51 remaining in regulation, but Union College regained an advantage and never trailed again, clinching a playoff berth with an 80-73 win in the Burkman Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
Feb. 9: The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team used a 13-1 run over a span of 4:41 in the second half to put the game out of reach for Union, earning a 63-53 Liberty League victory on Saturday afternoon in the Burkman Gymnasium. The Saints, who avenged an overtime loss earlier in the season, improved to 11-3 in the league and 17-6 overall. Meanwhile, the Dutchwomen fell to 8-6 in the conference and 13-9 overall.
Feb. 9: The St. Lawrence University Nordic ski teams competed in the 3x5k Relays on Saturday on day two of the 2013 Dartmouth Carnival. The underclassmen trio of Austin Meng, Will Frielinghaus and Kyle Curry paced the teams, finishing sixth in the team standings with 68.0 points.
Feb. 9: The slalom races of the 2013 Dartmouth Carnival have been canceled today due to high winds. EISA skiing is working to reschedule the races for a day over the next two weekends.
Feb. 8: Rensselaer's Tyler Gendron and Daniel Martin combined for 43 points to lead the Engineers to a come-from-behind 86-82 win in overtime over St. Lawrence University in Friday night's Liberty League contest in the Burkman Gymnasium. The win moves the Engineers to 7-5 in the conference and 12-9 overall, while the Saints fall to 7-6 in the conference and 9-13 overall.
Feb. 8: The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team used a 12-0 run midway through the second half to put the game out of reach for Rensselaer, as the Saints went on to win 78-56 in Friday's Liberty League contest in the Burkman Gymnasium.
Feb. 8: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team scored twice in the third period to snap a 1-1 tie en route to a 3-1 ECAC Hockey victory over Union College in Schenectady, NY on Friday night. Junior Dayle Wilkinson's first career goal midway through the third added an insurance tally to ensure the Saints of two points in the league standings.
- Feb. 8: St. Lawrence battled from behind in the third period for the third straight Friday, but had its six-game unbeaten streak snapped at Appleton Arena when Rensselaer senior wing CJ Lee scored on a shot from behind the goal line which deflected into the net off the blocker of goalie Matt Weninger for a 4-3 RPI win.
Feb. 8: The St. Lawrence University duo of Ben DeFlavio and Graham Scott propelled the Saints men's alpine ski team to fifth place overall in the giant slalom at the 2013 Dartmouth Carnival on Friday. Both DeFlavio and Scott earned top-20 showings en route to the solid team finish.
Feb. 8: St. Lawrence University sophomore Nordic skier Austin Meng continued his string of impressive showings on Friday at the 2013 Dartmouth Carnival. Meng earned his third consecutive top-12 finish, this one in the men's 10K classic, leading the Saints to sixth place in the team standings.
Feb. 6: The St. Lawrence University men's squash team, ranked #9 nationally, stretched its win-streak to seven matches with a 9-0 sweep of #16 Middlebury College on Wednesday afternoon. The Saints, who improve to 10-4 on the season, also celebrated senior day as it was the last home match for the team's lone senior Amay Merchant. Meanwhile, the Panthers fall to 12-6 on the season.
Feb. 6: The St. Lawrence University women's squash team, ranked #28 nationally, was swept #11 Middlebury, 9-0, in the Robie Squash Courts on Wednesday night. The Saints, who fall to 4-10 on the season, also celebrated the last home matches for the team's seniors Frances Robinson and Corey McHugh. Meanwhile, the Panthers improve to 13-4.
Feb. 5: Sophomore Brady Condlin and senior Kyle Miller combined for 43 points to lead the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team past Skidmore College, 67-61, in Tuesday's Liberty League contest in Saratoga Springs, NY. The Saints improved to 7-5 in the league and 9-12 overall, while the Thoroughbreds dropped to 8-5 and 14-8 overall.
Feb. 5: Skidmore College took over the lead in the race to the top of the Liberty League with a 46-44 win over St. Lawrence University, Tuesday night at the Williamson Sports Center. The Thoroughbreds are 10-3 in the conference and 12-10 overall. The Saints drop to 9-3 and 15-6.
Feb. 3: St. Lawrence University sophomore Nordic skier Austin Meng propelled himself into the mix for a berth to the 2013 NCAA Championships on Sunday with his first collegiate top-10 finish at the UVM Carnival.
- Feb. 2: Sophomore John Lidgett hopped off the Colgate bench, took a lead pass from defenseman Thomas Larkin and scored on a breakaway with 3:04 to go in regulation time, lifting Colgate to a 3-3 tie in a ECAC Hockey game at St. Lawrence Saturday night, snapping a three-game Saint win streak.
Feb. 2: Sophomore Brady Condlin recorded a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds but the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team was edged by Vassar College once again this season, this time by the score of 84-80 in double overtime in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Brewers had five players reach double figures as the team improves to 7-13 and 3-8 in the Liberty League. Meanwhile, four Saints joined Condlin in double figures but it was not enough, as St. Lawrence falls to 8-12 on the season and 6-5 in the conference.
- Feb. 2: Mike Scott won the high jump and Jamal Samaroo was second in the triple jump for the top performances for the St. Lawrence University men's indoor track and field team as it prepped for the upcoming Liberty League Championships at the Ithaca Invitational.
Feb. 2: The @SLUsaints women's hockey team rallied for a 3-2 victory over nationally-ranked No. 6 Clarkson University on Saturday afternoon at Appleton Arena during the team's "Saints Go Social" event. Sophomore defenseman @BOObacca (Amanda Boulier) scored two goals including the game-winner.
Feb. 2: Eliza Bell won the high jump and Divya Biswal the triple jump to highlight St. Lawrence University's women's indoor track and field team's participation in the Ithaca Bomber Invitational on Saturday.
