Liz Ludovici ’07, Lyons Falls, NY, outdistances
the competition. Liz is one of the outstanding distance runners in
the Liberty League, and she is also one of the top pole vaulters in
both the league and the New York State Collegiate Track Conference.
Spanish major, consistent Dean’s List student and
member of the Liberty League and college track coaches all academic
teams in both her sophomore and junior years, Liz was the 2005 Liberty
League cross country individual champion and the Cross Country
Runner of the Year. She earned All Liberty league honors with second
place finishes in the mile and 800 indoors and was third in one of
her few ventures into pole vaulting this past season.
In the 2006 outdoor season she was the Liberty League outdoor champion
in the 1500 and finished second by less than a second in the 800. In
the NYSCTC championships, she went long distance, finishing fourth
in the 5000 meters. In her first three seasons of collegiate track
the former Frontier League all star in cross country and track has earned
all league honors three straight times in cross country and in 11 events
in track and field.
Liz graduated from South Lewis Jr.-Sr. High School.
