Judin Pierre Louis ’08, Nyack, NY is the man in the middle.
All the Saint junior inside linebacker on the Saints football team
wants to do is stay there for a full season. After seeing action
at linebacker in two games and playing on special teams as a first-year
player, Judin was having a breakout season a year ago when
an injury brought things to a screeching halt four games into the
season.
At the time of his season-ending injury, Judin was second in the
Liberty League in tackles, averaging 10 per game. Despite playing
just four of nine games last year, he finished seventh on the Saint
tackle chart with 13 solo stops and 27 assists. As the Saints headed
into week two of pre-season camp in late August, he was having an
outstanding pre-season and showed no signs of the injury which curtailed
his sophomore season.
Judin was a three-sport athlete at Nyack High School, playing football,
basketball and lacrosse. He was all-league, all-county, all-section,
and all-state in football, earning defensive MVP honors and was the
tournament MVP in lacrosse.
A combined economics and math major and a member of the
Black Student Union, he was one of 36 members of the Saint football
team who attained a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in
the spring semester of 2006.
