Brenda Crawford joins the St. Lawrence athletic training staff and will work with the Division I men's hockey program, as well as assist with the University's Division III programs.

She served as the primary trainer for Clarkson University's women's hockey team last year after working at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts, functioning as an athletic training teaching assistant.

Crawford has extensive experience in the Northeast, including work with Division I programs at Brown University in 2009. Crawford also worked as the assistant athletic trainer with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League in Ontario from 2005 to 2007. Crawford, who graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2002 with a BA in Kinesiology, earned a second degree in Athletic Therapy from the Sheridan Institute of Technology in 2007 before gaining a master's degree in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State.
