"I have worked with undergraduate students on senior research projects in almost every area of my research. In addition to mentoring student research, much of my professional time these days is spent writing textbooks in calculus and related fields. Teaching helps me write better books for students across the country, and thinking carefully about how to write about a topic in the books helps me explain things better in the classroom. The two are completely integrated." - Dr. Lock
Dr. Lock is an avid St. Lawrence sports fan who has also served as the faculty mentor to the women's basketball team. She enjoys hiking in the Adirondacks, traveling and spending time with friends.
