Kirk Douglas '39

An outstanding wrestler for four years as an undergraduate Kirk Douglas led an active campus life in addition to his athletic endeavors.

Undefeated as a senior wrestler, he was president of Thelmo, Chairman of the Campus Council, Chairman of the Freshman Orientation Committee and listed in Who’s Who Among American College Students as a senior.

The star of many motion pictures since graduation and a member of the President’s Council on Health and Physical Fitness, he was also active as a thespian as an undergraduate at St. Lawrence and was president of the Mummers as a junior.
