Ronald T. Burkman '28

An outstanding athlete in both baseball and basketball as an undergraduate at St. Lawrence, Ron Burkman went on to fill a number of roles in a long, continuing relationship with his alma mater.

He went on to play professional baseball before returning to the North Country as a coach at Clarkson prior to joining the SLU staff.

At St. Lawrence, he served the University in both baseball and basketball coach, director of athletics and director of Appleton Arena.

He is still active as the clock operator for SLU football games.
