Andrew Welti '28

A three-sport standout who was president of his junior class and basketball captain as a  senior, Andrew Welti was a key played in one of the finest basketball seasons in St. Lawrence history.

He captained a team which went 14-4 and had wins over Yale,  Niagara, St. Bonaventure and Syracuse. A four-year player in basketball he was a two-year starter and three year player in football and was a three-year regular as a catcher in baseball. He was one of the team's top hitters as a senior, leading the team to a 9-0-1 record.
