Jacqueline Pitts '59

Although women’s athletics were sill a generation away when Jackie Pitts finished her undergraduate career at St. Lawrence, she was a leader of the Women’s Athletic and Recreational Association during her four years at SLU.

Following graduation, she pursued an interest in women’s lacrosse and is the President of the Women’s Lacrosse Association.

The coach of the U.S. Women’s lacrosse team, she built that team to its current status as defending World Champions and is recognized internationally as one of the leaders of women’s lacrosse.
