Don Watkins '75

The premier punt and kickoff return artist in St. Lawrence football history, Don Watkins was also an outstanding backcourt player for the Saint basketball team.

In football, his punt returns won three games in 1974 including a last-minute win over RPI. In basketball, he was a key member of teams which went to the NCAA playoffs in three consecutive years and was a co-captain as a senior. He was an All ICAC choice in both football and basketball.

A graduate assistant coach at St. Lawrence in both football and basketball after graduation he went on to a career in youth work.
