'57 Hockey Line: Leland Fournier, Joe McLean, and Ron "Obie" O'Brien
A trio of hockey stars from the Ottawa junior programs, left wing Ron O'Brien, center Joe McLean and right wing Lee Fournier were established as a St. Lawrence line in their sophomore season and terrorized opposing goalies for all three of their varsity seasons. All three earned all star honors and all three were both All East and All Tri-County League as seniors.
They accounted for 189 goals, 244 assists and 433 points in 68 varsity games and led the Saints to a 50-17-1 record and two NCAA appearances duriing their careers. All three remain among the top scorers in Saitn hockey history.
O'Brien finished his career with 68 goals and 84 assists for 152 points and was a 1957 All America. Tournier had 49 goals and 87 assists for 136 points while McLean finished his career with 72 goals and 73 assists for 145 poitns and was also a 1957 All America.
