Athletic Trainer

Aisha Visram was named the head athletic trainer for women's hockey in the fall of 2012. She came to St. Lawrence University after working as a graduate assistant trainer at the University of Massachussetts Amherst, where she received her Masters degree in Kinesiology.

Aisha graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph in 2007, and gained valuable hockey experience as an athletic therapist with Hockey Canada's U18 women's squad in 2010.

Visram also worked as a graduate assistant at Smith College, working with student-athletes from 14 varsity teams and 10 club sport programs. She is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association, and was the recipient of that organization's Research and Education Foundation Masters Grant Award in 2011.
