Transfer Regulations

Division I

All student-athletes seeking a transfer from St. Lawrence University need to be released via a written document provided by the Athletic Department.  It is recommended that any student-athlete considering a transfer speak with our Compliance Coordinator to learn of rules and regulations concerning transfer status. All communication to other institutions is prohibited until a release is granted from the St. Lawrence University Athletic Department.

Division III

All student-athletes seeking a transfer from St. Lawrence University can issue a self-release in order to speak with a coach at any institution.  It is recommended that any student-athlete considering a transfer speak with our Compliance Coordinator to learn of rules and regulations concerning transfer status.  All communication between the student-athlete and any institution is prohibited until the self-release form has been completed and received by the institution.
