Pavlus, Bean, Curran Earn Liberty League Awards

Senior Wendy Pavlus, the 2011 USTFCCCA Indoor Women's Athlete of the Year, added Liberty League Indoor Track Performer of the Year to her lengthy and impressive list of awards and accomplishments and coach Kate Curran and freshman jumper Victoria Bean shared two of the other top awards in voting by the league's coaches.

St. Lawrence University senior Wendy Pavlus has been named the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association and is the first Division III athlete to win both Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Year and Indoor Track Athlete of the Year in the history of the USTFCCCA awards program.

Pavlus Wins NCAA 5000 Meter Championship

St. Lawrence University senior Wendy Pavlus won her fourth straight NCAA championship race on Saturday, winning the NCAA Division III indoor 5000 meter championship for the second straight season.

St. Lawrence University senior Wendy Pavlus will be in pursuit of her second straight NCAA Division III indoor championship and her fourth straight national title overall when she runs in the NCAA Division III Championships at Capital University in Columbus, OH on Saturday.

Pavlus Improves SLU Record, Meets NCAA Auto in 5000 at ECAC

Senior Wendy Pavlus improved her own St. Lawrence record in the 5000 meters by five seconds and easily met NCAA automatic qualifying in winning the ECAC Championship at that distance at the Armory in New York City on Friday.
