Wendy Pavlus trimmed eight seconds off her St. Lawrence record in the 5000 meters and just missed NCAA automatic qualification and Alyssa Pirinelli finished fourth in the shot put and sixth in the weight throw to highlight Saint performances in the Terrier Invitational at Boston University on Friday.

Alyssa Pirinelli won both throws, meeting NCAA automatic qualification in the shot and provisional qualification in the weight throw and Wendy Pavlus set the St. Lawrence record in the mile run as the Saint women's indoor track and field team finished second in the St. Lawrence Invitational in the Newell Field House Saturday.

Alyssa Pirinelli won both throws and Jessica Marini set the St. Lawrence record in the 600 meter run to highlight Saint performances at the Ottawa Superdome Saturday Series to open the 2010 portion of the indoor track and field season.
