Saints Compete in Final Day of ITA Championship

Sept. 25: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team concluded competition at the 2011 USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship, hosted by William Smith College in Geneva, NY.  First-year student Elkie Vandenbeemt advanced to the quarterfinals in singles play, and teamed up with senior Hillary Drewry to advance the quarterfinals in doubles action. 

Saints Impress on Day One of ITA Championship

Sept. 24: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team had a solid first day of competition at the 2011 USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship, hosted by William Smith College in Geneva, NY.  Senior Hillary Drewry and first-year student Elkie Vandenbeemt both won two singles matches and remain in contention, while the duo teamed up and have advanced to the doubles quarterfinals.

Saints Post 6-3 Victory Over Continentals

Sept. 16, 2011:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team defeated Hamilton College, 6-3, on Friday in Clinton, NY.  First-year student Elkie Vandenbeemt and junior Shannon Murphy led the Saints (1-0) with two wins apiece on the day. 

Drewry, Vandenbeemt Doubles Champions at Mary Hosking Tournament

Sept 11: Senior Hillary Drewry and first-year student Elkie Vandenbeemt teamed up in A flight doubles competition to win the Mary Hosking Tennis Tournament hosted by William Smith College.  The duo battled through four straight matches before they were crowned champions on Sunday evening in Geneva, NY.  

Saints Start Season Strong at Mary Hosking Invitational

Sept. 10:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team opened up its 2011 campaign strong  today at the Mary Hosking Invitational in Geneva, NY.  Senior Hillary Drewry and first-year students Elkie Vandenbeemt and Olivia Arroyo each advanced to the semifinals in the A Flight singles bracket, winning all of their matches on the day.
