Saints Fall to Nationally Ranked Lions, 9-0


Mar. 27: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team put up a tough fight Saturday, but ended up falling to The College of New Jersey, 9-0 in Geneva, NY.

Herons Edge Saints, 5-4

Mar. 26: Despite a solid effort Friday afternoon, the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season as they fell to William Smith College, who is ranked 27th in the region. The Herons edged the Saints, 5-4 in the Bristol Field House in Geneva, NY.

Saints Silence Tigers, 9-0

Mar. 21:  To say the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team controlled the courts Sunday afternoon would be an understatement, as they defeated RIT, 9-0 in the Newell Field House. 

Saints Shut Out Rensselaer, 9-0

Mar. 20:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team kept its undefeated streak alive in the Newell Field House Saturday, by shutting out Rensselaer, 9-0 in the first Liberty League match of the year.

Saints Move Ahead Seven Spots in Northeast Regional Rankings

Mar. 17:  The St. Lawrence women's tennis team has moved ahead seven spots in the Northeast Regional Rankings to put them 19th,  as of Tuesday, March 16th.  They were previously ranked as 26th on November 5, 2009, after the completion of the fall season. 

Saints Undefeated as they Drop Regionally Ranked Colonels, 6-2

Mar. 14:  The St. Lawrence women's tennis put the finishing touches on their perfect trio of wins in Hilton Head, SC, with a 6-2 victory over Wilkes University under the lights Friday evening.  After being rained out Thursday afternoon, the Saints fought hard in a long night match against the #13th team in the Atlantic South Region.  

Saints Top Tigers, 7-2 after Two Day Rain Delay


Mar. 14:  After waiting out the rain of Hilton Head, SC, senior Casey Gilman and junior Stephanie Finn were able to give the St. Lawrence women's tennis team the point they needed in the number one doubles match to defeat Wittenberg University, 7-2, Friday afternoon.  The Saints held a 4-2 lead on Wednesday after singles play, but had to wait two days to complete competition due to weather inconveniences.

Saints Erase Cougars, 9-0 in First of Three Matches in Hilton Head, SC


Mar. 8: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team continued its 4-0 winning streak with a 9-0 sweep against Misericordia University in the first of three matches in Hilton Head, SC.
