Gobielle, Saints Close 2012 Season with 1-0 Victory over Golden Knights

Oct. 27: Junior Erika Gobielle sent a shot through traffic in front of the net with less than 14 minutes to go to lift the St. Lawrence University women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Liberty League opponent Clarkson University. The Saints conclude their season with a 8-6-2 record and a 2-5-1 mark in the conference.

Saints Fall to Tigers 2-1 on Senior Day

Oct. 20: Quincey Ornellas' goal in the 72nd minute gave RIT a 2-1 win over St. Lawrence University in a Liberty League match at Sandy MacAllaster Field on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers, who have already clinched a spot in the conference tournament, improve to 10-5 and 6-2 in the conference. Meanwhile, the Saints honored their three seniors in their final home game, but fell to 7-6-2 (1-5-1) on the season. 

Rock, Saints Edge Lakers 1-0

Oct. 16:  First-year student Samantha Rock's goal in the 73rd minute lifted the St. Lawrence University women's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Oswego State in a non-conference game Tuesday night at North Country Field.  With the win, the Saints improved to 7-5-2 overall, while the Lakers fell to 5-9-0. 

#13 Dutchwomen Slip Past Saints, 2-1

Oct. 13:  Jennifer Mansfield's goal in the 83rd minute gave nationally-ranked #13 Union College a 2-1 victory over St. Lawrence University on Saturday in a Liberty League contest at Sandy MacAllaster Field.  The Dutchwomen improved to 12-1 overall on the season and 4-1-0 in the league standings.  Meanwhile, the Saints fell to 6-5-2 and 1-4-1. 

Engineers Upend Saints 3-1

Oct. 12:  The St. Lawrence University women's soccer team suffered a 3-1 loss to Rensselaer in Friday evening's Liberty League action at Sandy MacAllaster Field.  Giana Abballe scored two goals, both assisted by Nikki Goodsell, and Goodsell capped the scoring with a goal of her own to lead RPI, which improves to 8-4 and remains perfect in the conference at 4-0.  Meanwhile, the Saints fall to 6-4-1 with a 1-3-1 mark in the conference. 

#20 Herons Slip Past Saints 1-0

Oct. 6:  Zoe Eth scored the game-winner with 1:34 left in the first half as nationally-ranked #20 William Smith slipped past St. Lawrence in a 1-0 Liberty League soccer match, Saturday on Cozzens Field. The Herons improve to 9-2-1 overall and 4-1-0 in conference play, while the Saints fall to 6-3-2, 1-2-1.
