Junior Stephanie Sayward scored her sixth goal of the season with under four minutes to play in the second overtime period to lift St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory in its Liberty League opener at Skidmore College on Saturday.

Sept. 17: Senior Katherine Polido's corner kick ended up in the goal with 11:31 to play in the first half and Brooke Hessney scored an insurance goal with 31:05 left in regulation as St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team pulled even at 2-2-1 on the season with a 2-0 win over Nazareth College in its home opener on Saturday.

Sayward, Rogers Lift Saints to 2-2 Tie at Plattsburgh

Junior Stephanie Sayward and senior Elena Rogers teamed up for a pair of second half goals to help St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team to a 2-2 come-from-behind tie at Plattsburgh State Saturday evening.

Geneseo State Scores Late to Top Saints, 2-1

Sept. 6: The St. Lawrence University women's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to Geneseo State, 2-1, on Tuesday night in Geneseo, NY.  Senior Elena Rogers tied the game for the Saints in the second half, but Bella Masotti gave the Blue Knights the one-goal win, scoring with a mere 5:07 left in regulation.

Saints Roll To 8-0 Women's Soccer Win over SUNYIT

St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team took to heart a pre-game conversation with coach Franco Bari about finishing off its scoring chances prior to Saturday's game two of the Lotto Tournament against SUNY-IT.

Cortland Edges Saints 1-0 in Season Opener

Jackie De Luise scored on a hard shot from the top of the box to the far corner of the goal with just under 11 minutes to go in regulation time to lift SUNY Cortland to a 1-0 win over St. Lawrence in the season opener for both teams at Clarkson on Friday evening.

Amanda Margolis assisted on the lone goal in what was an even game statistically as Cortland goalkeeper Pam Monnier and Saint senior keeper Abby van Geldern each had four saves in the contest.

"The team worked hard as a whole today. We created quality opportunities which unfortunately didn't fall our way," said Saint coach Frano Bari.

"I was quite pleased with how we responded after cortland scored. Many teams deflate, while we really picked up our pace and increased our opportunities. Unfortunately we just ran out of time"

Cortland finished with a 15-10 overall advantage in shots and each team had two corner kicks in the opener.

The Saints will play SUNYIT in game two of the season on Saturday at Clarkson while the host Golden Knights, a 3-0 winner in Friday's first game, will take on Cortland.
