NY. Senior Kim Morse led the Saints with
a pair of goals, but the Blue Knights' defense held their opponent's transition
game in check en route to the victory.
Mar. 28: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team's
game with Geneseo State, originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, has been
re-scheduled for Wednesday in Honeoye Falls, NY.
March 26: The St.
Lawrence University women's lacrosse team was narrowly defeated by Brockport
State on Saturday in Rochester, NY. The Saints
held a slim 5-3 advantage at halftime, but the Golden Eagles scored four
straight goals in the second half en route to the 8-7 victory.
Mar. 22: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team
earned an impressive 17-7 victory over Potsdam State on Tuesday evening under
the lights at Hall-Leet Stadium in Canton, NY.
Junior Margie Bailey scored a game-high five goals, while senior Kim
Cooper added four goals and an assist to give Saints' head coach Jodi Canfield
her 100th career victory.
Mar. 18: Caitlin Cataldo turned in a 14-save performance for
Connecticut College on Friday, leading the Camels to a 13-8 victory over the
St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team in West Palm Beach, FL. The Saints, who outshot their opponents
35-27, were led by junior Kendall Harty's three-goal showing.
Mar. 17: St. Lawrence University junior Alanna Piroli scored
five goals and the Saints used a 13-goal run to close the first half en route
to an 18-5 win for the Saints women's lacrosse team over UMass-Dartmouth in
West Palm Beach, FL on Thursday.
Mar. 15: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team
built a 7-0 lead in the first half against Fredonia State on Tuesday in West
Palm Beach, FL. However, the Blue Devils
rallied in the second half and pulled out a one-goal victory over the Scarlet
and Brown, 13-12.
Mar. 11: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team
dropped its opening contest of the 2011 season on Friday afternoon at Hall-Leet
Stadium in Canton, NY. The Saints, playing
the first lacrosse game on the new turf at North Country Field, tried to rally
in the second half against nationally-ranked No. 7 Cortland State, but fell
short in a 14-8 loss.
Mar. 10: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team
will play its first game on the new field turf at Hall-Leet Stadium on Friday
afternoon, as the Saints get their 2011 season underway against nationally-ranked
No. 7 Cortland State.
