Marks Named ECAC Hockey’s Rookie of the Week

Dec. 11: ECAC Hockey announced its weekly award winners on Tuesday morning, and St. Lawrence University first-year student Jenna Marks was tabbed the conference's Rookie of the Week for her play against Penn State last weekend.

Saints Sweep Nittany Lions with 4-2 Victory

Dec. 8: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team earned a weekend sweep of Penn State University on Saturday, as the Saints skated to a 4-2 victory over the Nittany Lions at Appleton Arena. First-year student Jenna Marks had a three-assist game to pace the Scarlet and Brown to a win in their final game of 2012.

Saints Knock Off Penn State 3-1 in First Ever Meeting

Dec. 7: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team scored a pair of goals in the third period to defeat Penn State University 3-1 at Appleton Arena on Friday night. Senior captain Kelly Sabatine broke a 1-1 tie at 7:53 of the third to push the Saints to the victory in the first ever meeting between the two teams.

McRae Earns Hogan/ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month Award

Dec. 4: St. Lawrence University first-year student Abbey McRae has been selected the Hogan Hockey/ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month for November by the league's coaches.

No. 3 Big Red Hold Off Saints, 4-2

Dec. 1: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team battled nationally-ranked No. 3 Cornell University at Appleton Arena on Saturday afternoon with a fast-paced, back-and-forth affair. Though the Saints cut their deficit to one at 3-2 in the third period, the Big Red tacked on an empty netter to clinch the ECAC Hockey victory, 4-2.
