Smith’s Hat Trick Propels Saints Past Colgate, 6-0

Jan. 28: St. Lawrence University sophomore Rylee Smith had a five-point game including a hat trick in the second period, while linemates Karell Emard and Kelly Sabatine each added a goal as the women's hockey team scored a 6-0 victory over Colgate University on Saturday afternoon at Appleton Arena.

No. 2 Cornell Snaps Saints’ Unbeaten Streak, 6-4

Jan. 27: Senior Rebecca Johnston scored two goals including an insurance empty netter with 11.0 seconds left, helping nationally-ranked No. 2 Cornell University hold on for a 6-4 victory over the St. Lawrence University women's hockey team on Friday night at Appleton Arena.

Smith, MacDonald Earn ECAC Hockey Honors

Jan. 25: St. Lawrence sophomore forward Rylee Smith and first-year student Carmen MacDonald have earned ECAC Hockey weekly honors for their contributions against Clarkson University last weekend.

Saints Skate to 1-1 Tie with Golden Knights

Jan. 21: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team picked up one point in the ECAC Hockey standings on Saturday, as the Saints skated to a 1-1 tie with Clarkson University at Cheel Arena.

Smith Propels Saints Past Clarkson for Eighth Straight Win

Jan. 20: Sophomore Rylee Smith scored her 11th goal of the season on the power play with only 3:40 left in regulation and added two assists, lifting the St. Lawrence women's hockey team to a 3-2 victory over Clarkson University at Appleton Arena on Friday night. 

Power Play Drives Saints Past Yale, 7-1

Jan. 14: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team continued their winning ways on Saturday afternoon as the Saints finished with four power play goals en route to a 7-1 victory over Yale University in New Haven, CT.

Saints Blank Brown for Sixth Straight Win

Jan. 13: St. Lawrence University first-year student Margo Lund scored her third goal of the season, while classmate Carmen MacDonald turned in a 22-save shutout performance to lift the Saints women's hockey team to its sixth straight victory, a 3-0 win over Brown University in Providence, RI.

Emond, MacDonald Help Saints to 6-1 Win over Vermont

Jan. 10: Senior wing Vanessa Emond scored one goal and assisted on two others and rookie goaltender Carmen MacDonald made some spectacular saves in earning her sixth straight win as St. Lawrence University's women's team closed out the non-league portion of its 2011-12 season with a 6-1 win over the University of Vermont at Appleton Arena Tuesday night.

Saints Win Fourth Straight, Top No. 7 Huskies 3-2

Jan. 6: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team picked up its second consecutive win over a nationally-ranked opponent on Friday, as the Scarlet and Brown handed No. 7 Northeastern University a 3-2 loss in Boston, MA.  Junior Brooke Fernandez had a goal and an assist in the win, while classmate Kelly Sabatine scored the game-winner.

Smith, MacDonald Help Saints Past #4 Eagles, 2-1

Jan. 5: St. Lawrence University sophomore Rylee Smith scored a goal and assisted on another, while rookie goaltender Carmen MacDonald made 29 saves as the Saints opened 2012 in style with a 2-1 victory over nationally-ranked No. 4 Boston College in Boston, MA.
