Dr. Schuckers’ Hockey Research Featured in “Academic Minute”

Dec. 16: St. Lawrence University Associate Professor of Statistics, Dr. Michael Schuckers, was featured today on Inside Higher Ed, WAMC public radio in Albany and a variety of public stations throughout the country.  Dr. Schuckers undertook a statistical analysis of shootouts in the National Hockey League and the statistics surrounding both the shooters and goaltenders.  Listen to his description of his work and his findings here.

Sabatine, Smith Power Saints in 6-3 Win Over RPI

Dec. 3: St. Lawrence University junior Kelly Sabatine and sophomore Rylee Smith combined for four goals and two assists on Saturday, leading the Saints women's hockey team to a 6-3 victory over Rensselaer at Appleton Arena.

Power Play Leads Saints Past Union, 3-1

Dec. 2: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team finished with a 2-for-3 mark on the power play on Friday night, riding solid special teams play to a 3-1 win over Union College in Canton, NY.
