Sabatine, Lahonen Lead Saints Past Union, 1-0

Oct. 30: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team picked up its first ECAC Hockey win of the 2010-11 season on Saturday with a 1-0 shutout against Union College at Appleton Arena.  Sophomore Kelly Sabatine scored the game-winning goal, while first-year goalie Caitlyn Lahonen made 27 saves to record her first collegiate shutout.

Engineers Defeat Saints 3-2 in Conference Opener

Oct. 29: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team lost to Rensselaer in its 2010-11 ECAC Hockey regular season opener at Appleton Arena on Friday night by the score of 3-2. 

UNH Hangs on for 5-3 Win Over Saints

Oct. 23: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team got three goals from underclassmen on Saturday, but the University of New Hampshire used a pair of third period goals to defeat the Saints at the Whittemore Center in Durham, NH by the score of 5-3.

No. 5 Terriers Hold Off Saints, 2-1

Oct. 22: St. Lawrence University junior Vanessa Emond scored her second goal of the season with 2:35 remaining in regulation to pull the Saints to within one goal of nationally-ranked No. 5 Boston University on Friday night in Boston, MA.  However, the Terriers, anchored by a 25-save performance by goaltender Kerrin Sperry, were able to hold on for the 2-1 victory in a non-conference game.

Clarkson Stuns Saints in Home Opener, 3-2

Oct. 16: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team had its 2010-11 home opener spoiled by North Country rival Clarkson on Saturday, as the Golden Knights scored two goals only 32 seconds apart in the final minutes of a wild third period at Appleton Arena before hanging on to win the game by the score of 3-2.

Saints Play to 1-1 Draw with Clarkson

Oct. 15: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team earned a 1-1 tie with Clarkson University on Friday afternoon at Cheel Arena in a non-conference game between the two North Country rivals.

Saints Rally Past UConn, Earn Weekend Split

Oct. 10: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team battled back from a 2-0 deficit on Sunday afternoon, as the Saints scored a pair of third period goals to defeat the University of Connecticut by the score of 3-2 in Storrs, CT. 

Providence Handles Saints 6-1 in Season Opener

Oct. 9: Providence's Kate Bacon scored a hat trick while teammate Laura Veharanta added a pair of goals as the Friars knocked off St. Lawrence by the score of 6-1 in the Saints' 2010-11 season opener at Schneider Arena in Providence, RI.

Bero’s Last-Minute Goal Lifts Saints Past McGill

Oct. 1: St. Lawrence University junior Alley Bero put the finishing touches on a dramatic victory for Saints' women's hockey team on Friday night, as the Akwesasne, NY native scored the decisive goal with 38.7 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Scarlet and Brown a 2-1 win over McGill University in their annual exhibition game at Appleton Arena.
