Mercyhurst Uses Big Third Period to Top Saints, 6-2

Dec. 12: The No. 10 St. Lawrence University women's hockey team found itself in a tie game with No. 1 Mercyhurst College on Saturday at Appleton Arena with 15:00 minutes left in regulation.  However, the Lakers, led by Jesse Scanzano's natural hat trick, scored four unanswered goals to hand the Scarlet and Brown a 6-2 loss in the final game of 2009.

No. 1 Lakers Knock Off No. 10 Saints in NCAA Tourney Rematch, 4-2

Dec. 11: In a rematch of the 2009 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals, the unanimous No. 1 team in the country, Mercyhurst College, skated to a 4-2 victory over the No. 10 St. Lawrence University women's hockey team at Appleton Arena on Friday evening.

Goldsmith’s Goal Helps Saints Earn 2-2 Tie with Quinnipiac

Dec. 5: St. Lawrence University first-year student Jamie Goldsmith scored her 5th goal of the season in the third period of Saturday's game against Quinnipiac University to help the Saints rally for a 2-2 tie with the Bobcats at Appleton Arena.

Sullivan, Chartier Push Saints Past Tigers 3-1

Dec. 4: St. Lawrence University first-year student Kayla Sullivan scored a pair of goals while senior assistant captain Brittony Chartier made 21 saves to lead the Saints' women's hockey team to a 3-1 win over ECAC Hockey foe Princeton University at Appleton Arena on Friday afternoon.
