Pavlus Named National Athlete of the Year, Nominated for Women’s Sports Award

Nov. 23: Fresh off of her victory at the 2010 Division III NCAA Cross Country Championship, St. Lawrence University senior Wendy Pavlus has been named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association's Female Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season. Also, Pavlus has once again been nominated for the Collegiate Women Sports Award's Athlete of the Year, sponsored by Honda.

Pavlus Defends Division III National Championship!

Nov. 20:  Senior captain Wendy Pavlus successfully defended her NCAA Division III individual cross country national championship title on Saturday at the Max Cross Country Course in Waverly, IA.  The victory is the third career national title for the Tupper Lake, NY native. 

NCAA Preview: “Avenue of the Saints”

Nov. 18: The travel party consisting of the St. Lawrence University men's and women's cross country teams headed from St. Paul, MN to Waverly, IA today en route for the NCAA Championships on Saturday, November 20.  Fittingly, perhaps, that this stretch of highway is referred to as "Avenue of the Saints," as both squads practiced at the Max Cross Country Course at Wartburg College for the first time on Thursday afternoon.

Pavlus, Howard Earn Atlantic Regional Awards

Nov. 16: St. Lawrence University senior captain Wendy Pavlus of the women's cross country team has been named the 2010 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Atlantic Regional Athlete of the Year for the third consecutive season.

Pavlus, Saints Win Atlantic Regional Championships

Nov. 13: St. Lawrence University senior Wendy Pavlus won her third straight NCAA Atlantic Regional individual championship and the Saints, ranked second in the nation, punched their ticket for a team trip to the NCAA Division III Championships with an impressive team showing in the Atlantic Regional Championship on Saturday.
