Saints Finish Second in Petite Final at NCAA Championships

May 29: Saturday offered a familiar finish for the St. Lawrence University women's crew team, as the Saints' Varsity 8+ boat finished second in the Petite Final at the 2010 NCAA Championships in Gold River, CA.  It is the second straight year the Scarlet and Brown have been the runner-up in the Petite Final.

Saints Advance to Petite Final at NCAA Championships

May 28: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team opened competition at the 2010 NCAA Championships on Friday in Gold River, CA at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center. The Saints Varsity boat finished second in their morning heat on Lake Natoma and will row in the Petite Final tomorrow after a fourth place finish in the Grand Qualifier.

Connolly Earns ECAC All-Conference Honors

May 21: Senior Jane Connolly of the St. Lawrence University women's crew team was named to the 2010 ECAC National Invitational Rowing All-Conference Team.

Saints Earn Third Straight Team Bid to NCAA Championships

May 11:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team earned its third straight team bid Tuesday, to the NCAA Championships in Sacramento, CA on May 28- 29.  Both the Saints' first and second varsity boats will be racing at Nationals.

Six Saints Named to 2010 ECAC Stewards’ All-Academic Team

May 10:  Six members of the St. Lawrence University women's crew team were named to the ECAC Stewards' All-Academic Team Monday.  In order to be honored, student-athletes must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grand point average of at least 3.35.  All transfer students must have completed a year of study at the particular institution.

No. 4 Saints Send All Eights to Grand Finals at ECAC Championships

May 9:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team advanced all three eights to grand finals Sunday, at the ECAC Championships in Worchester, MA.  Both the Saints first varsity eight and second varsity eight finished sixth in the finals, while the third varsity eight earned fifth.

Saints Move up 2 Spots in Polls, Now Ranked 4th in the Nation

May 5:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team, previously ranked 6th in the country, moved up two spots in the national polls Wednesday, and is now ranked 4th in front of the 2008 national champions Trinity College. 

#6 Saints Earn Silver at NYS Championships

May 2: The #6 St. Lawrence University women's crew team looked very strong as both the varsity eight and the second varsity eight placed second in the grand finals at the New York State Championships Sunday, in Whitney Point, NY.

Saints Advance All Crews to Grand Finals at NYS Championships

May 1: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team advanced both varsity eights to Grand Finals at the New York State Rowing Championships Saturday, in Whitney Point, NY, while the Saints open four won their final and the third varsity eight took home the bronze. The varsity eight and the second varsity eight will compete tomorrow, Sunday, May 2nd.
