Saints Down Golden Knights, 69-47

Jan. 29:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team defeated Clarkson University, 69-47, in Tuesday's Liberty League contest in the Burkman Gymnasium.  Sophomore Kara McDuffee led all scorers with 21 points and 10 rebounds, as the Saints improve to 14-4 and 8-1 in the league.  Meanwhile, the Golden Knights were led by Leighann Tomita's 15 points and nine rebounds, but fall to 2-15 and remain winless in the conference. 

Balanced Scoring Lifts Saints to 79-67 Victory Over Engineers

Jan. 26:   The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team got off to a fast start and then held off Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 79-67, in a Liberty League game at East Campus Arena. Five Saints reached double digits in points as the team improved to 13-4 overall and 7-1 in the league.  The Engineers, who cut their deficit to eight points in the second half, fell to 10-7 and 4-4.

Dutchwomen Snap Saints’ Streak in OT, 66-65

Jan. 25: Kelsey McDonald hit a driving shot off the glass with nine seconds left in overtime to lift Union College to a 66-65 Liberty League victory over the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team on Friday night at the Viniar Athletic Center. The loss snapped the Saints' 12-game win streak and was their first loss in the league as they fell to 12-4 and 6-1. Meanwhile, Union improved to 6-4 in league play and 11-7 for the season.

Saints Top Tigers for 11th Straight Win

Jan. 19:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team extended its win streak to 11 games with a 55-43 victory over Liberty League opponent RIT in the Burkman Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.  The Saints, led by sophomore Kara McDuffee's double-double, improved to 12-3 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the league.  Meanwhile, the Tigers fell to 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference. 

McDuffee, Saints Down Herons, 76-63

Jan. 18:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team won its 10th straight game with a victory over William Smith College, 76-63, in Friday's Liberty League contest in the Burkman Gymnasium.  The Saints, led by sophomore Kara McDuffee's game-high 23 points and junior Kelly Legg's double-double, improved to 11-3 overall and 5-0 in the league.  The Herons were led by Chloe Hayter's 23 points but suffered the loss, falling to 8-6 overall and 2-3 in the conference. 

Strong Second Half Lifts Saints past Golden Knights, 74-40

Jan. 15:  A 24-5 run to open the second half lifted the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team to a 74-40 victory in Liberty League action at Alumni Gymnasium on Tuesday night.  The Saints remain unbeaten in the league at 4-0, winning their ninth straight game to improve to 10-3 overall.  The Golden Knights fall to 2-11 overall and 0-5 in the conference. 

Saints Defeat Raptors, 49-34

Jan. 12:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team defeated Bard College by the score of 49-34 in Saturday afternoon's Liberty League contest in the Burkman Gymnasium.  The win is the Saints' eighth straight as they improve to 9-3 overall and 3-0 in the league.  Meanwhile, the Raptors fall to 7-7 and 1-4 in the league.

Legg, Saints Roll Past Brewers, 81-60

Jan. 11:   The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team used balanced scoring to down Liberty League foe Vassar College by the score of 81-60 on Friday night in the Burkman Gymnasium.  The Saints, led by junior Kelly Legg's game-high 22 points, used an 11-0 run over a span of three minutes in the second half to build a substantial advantage that they would not relinquish. 

Saints Down Thoroughbreds in Liberty League Opener, 67-52

Jan. 8:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team used a 29-4 run midway through the second half en route to an impressive 67-52 victory over Skidmore College in the Saints' 2013 Liberty League opener in the Burkman Gymnasium.  Sophomore Kara McDuffee scored a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds, while junior Kelly Legg chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds.

Saints Top Bears, 71-48

Jan. 4:  Sophomore guard Kara McDuffee led three Saints in double-figures with 20 points as the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team topped SUNY Potsdam, 71-48, in Friday's non-conference road game.  Sophomore Ally Cady and junior Kelly Legg added 16 points apiece, helping the Saints improve to 6-3 on the season before opening up Liberty League play on January 8th, hosting Skidmore College.  Meanwhile, Potsdam fell to 1-9 on the season and was led by junior Jessica Kouzan's 11 points.
