Legg, Saints Close 2012 with 70-57 Victory Over Mavericks

Dec. 15:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team dominated play inside the paint en route to a 70-57 non-conference victory over Medaille College on Saturday in the Burkman Gymnasium.  The Saints, led by junior forward Kelly Legg's game-high 24 points and six rebounds, improved to 5-3, closing the year 2012 with four straight wins.  The Mavericks fall to a 5-5 mark on the season and were led by two in double figures. 

Saints Cruise Past Kangaroos, 74-37

Dec. 11:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team cruised past SUNY Canton (5-5) by the score of 74-37 in a non-conference matchup at Roos' House on Tuesday night. Sophomore Kara McDuffee led three Saints in double figures with 18 points and a career-high 14 rebounds, helping St. Lawrence improve to 4-3 on the season.

Saints Snap Hawks’ Streak with 58-51 Victory

Dec. 7:   The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team erased a 47-42 deficit with a 16-4 run over the final 3:37 to earn a 58-51 victory over Hartwick College in the Burkman Gymnasium on Friday night.  The Scarlet and Brown, who improved to 3-3, handed the visitor its second loss of the season, which snapped a six-game Hawk win-streak as they fall to 6-2. 

Strong First Half Lifts Saints to 79-63 Victory over Soaring Eagles

Dec. 1:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball used a strong first half to earn a 79-63 victory over non-conference opponent Elmira, Saturday in the Burkman Gymnasium.  The Saints' 57% shooting in the opening stanza gave St. Lawrence a double figure lead that the Soaring Eagles were unable to overcome.
