Edgerton, Capello Earn All-Conference Honors

Feb. 27:  After an impressive 2009-10 season for the St. Lawrence women's basketball team, sophomore teammates Casey Capello and Katherine Edgerton earned All-Conference honors.  Capello was named to the Liberty League First Team, while Edgerton earned Honorable Mention. 

Engineers Outlast Saints, 67-55 in Semi-Finals of Conference Tournament

Feb. 26:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team put up a tough fight against Rensselaer Friday in the first semi-final game of the Liberty League Tournament, but the Engineers managed to outlast the Saints, 67-55 in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Saints Top Dutchwomen, 63-52, Earning No. 2 Seed in Conference Tournament

Feb. 20:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team, led by senior captain Brittany Parham who earned a game-high19 points, defeated Union College, 63-52, Saturday to earn the No. 2 seed going into the Liberty League Tournament.  The Saints will be matched up against Rensselaer in the first game of the Tournament.   

Saints Edge Conference Leaders, 49-45

Feb. 19:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team came back from behind Friday night, to grab a last minute, 49-45 victory in the Burkman Gymnasium against the number one team in the Liberty League, Skidmore College.

Saints Outlast Herons, 62-54, Clinching Spot in Liberty League Tournament

Feb. 13:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team shot over 50% from the floor in the first half of Saturday's game to help defeat conference opponent William Smith College, 62-54 in Geneva, NY and earn a spot in the Liberty League Tournament.

Saints Edge Continentals, 67-61 in Double Overtime

Feb. 12:  To say the St. Lawrence women's basketball team played tough Friday night would be an understatement, as the women fought from behind to defeat conference opponent Hamilton College, 67-61 in double overtime.

Saints Strike Back, Defeating Rensselaer, 62-38

Feb. 6:  The St. Lawrence women's basketball team struck with comeback number two Saturday, as sophomore Casey Capello earned a game-high 24 points to help the Saints defeat Rensselaer, 62-38, in Troy, NY after losing to the Engineers earlier this season.

Edgerton Earns 22 Points, as Saints Down Brewers, 64-39

Feb. 5:  After falling to conference opponent Vassar College, 50-46 earlier this season, sophomore Katherine Edgerton racked up a game-high 22 points, to help the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team make a nice comeback to drop the Brewers, 64-39 in Poughkeepsie, NY Friday.

Saints Handle Golden Knights, 72-60

Feb. 2:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team shot over 50 % from the floor and the arc in the decisive first half Tuesday, to defeat North Country rival Clarkson University, 72-60 in the Burkman Gymnasium.
