Prue Earns All-Tournament, Saints Split at Houghton

Oct. 27: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team completed its 2012 season on Saturday, splitting its matches at the 2012 Houghton Invitational. The Saints swept Alfred University 3-0 before falling to SUNY Canton by the same score in the afternoon match. Junior Katie Prue earned All-Tournament team honors for her efforts over the weekend.

Saints Beat Brockport, Split at Houghton Tournament

Oct. 26: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team earned a split on day one of the 2012 Houghton Tournament on Friday thanks to an impressive 3-1 victory over Brockport State. The Saints rebounded from a 3-1 loss to Houghton in the opening match by hitting .533 and .481 in games one and two against the Golden Eagles en route to the win.

RIT Rallies to 3-1 Victory over Saints

Oct. 20: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team jumped out to a 1-0 lead against RIT on Saturday in their final Liberty League contest of the season. However, the Tigers rallied behind Cat Sullivan's 13 kills and won three straight sets to earn a 3-1 victory in Potsdam, NY.

Brown, Saints Top Union in “Power of Pink” Match

Oct. 19: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team hosted a Liberty League crossover on Friday evening in the Burkman Gymnasium. The Saints hosted "Power of Pink" to help raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. With the gymnasium decked in pink, the Saints rallied past Union College 3-1 thanks to a fantastic performance by rookie Lexi Brown, whose .576 single-match hitting percentage was the fifth-best in program history.

Saints Fall to Clarkson, 3-0

Oct. 16: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team lost a Liberty League contest to North Country rival Clarkson University on Tuesday night in the Burkman Gymnasium by the score of 3-0. First-year student Lexi Brown had a team-high eight kills, but the Golden Knights had too much firepower offensively and closed out the home team 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

Saints Swept at Ithaca Tournament

Oct. 13: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team was swept on day two of the 2012 Ithaca Tournament on Saturday afternoon, losing to Fredonia State and Sage by the scores of 3-0 and 3-1, respectively.

Saints Top Wells 3-0 to Earn Split

Oct. 12: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team defeated Wells College 25-17, 25-8, 25-13 to earn a split on Friday at the 2012 Ithaca Tournament in Ithaca, NY. The Saints fell to the hosting Bombers in the opening match 3-1 (26-24, 25-23, 20-25, 25-17).

Potsdam State Rallies Past Saints, 3-2

Oct. 2: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team saw a 2-1 lead slip away on Tuesday evening, as Potsdam State came from behind in dramatic fashion to earn a 3-2 victory in Potsdam, NY, 22-25, 25-20, 26-28, 25-23, 15-9.
