July 27: The St. Lawrence University
volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team
Academic Award for its efforts in the classroom throughout the 2011-12 school
year. The Saints were one of 90 NCAA
Division III women's volleyball programs to receive the honor this season.
