Miller Becomes All-Time Leader in Kills at St. Lawrence

Oct. 31: St. Lawrence University senior Nyasha Miller became St. Lawrence University's all-time leader in career kills on Saturday at the 2011 Regional Challenge. The Mount Kisco, NY native passed Jessica Lucky '10 and was named the tournament Most Valuable Player.

Saints Conclude Regional Challange with 3-2 Win Over Nazareth

Oct. 29:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team concluded its non-conference play at the Regional Challenge in Rochester, NY on Saturday.  The Saints suffered a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-23) loss to Fredonia to open the day, and then rebounded to take a close 3-2 (25-15, 25-19, 21-25, 23-25, 15-13) decision against Nazareth. 

NYU Slips Past Saints, 3-2

Oct. 28:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team dropped its first match of the Regional Challenge in Rochester, NY.  New York University slipped past the Saints, 3-2, by the scores of 25-12, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25, and 15-11.  The Scarlet and Brown then fell 3-0 to Rochester in the nightcap (25-15, 25-8, 25-22). 

Saints Clinch Playoff Spot with Win Over RIT

Oct. 22:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team snapped its three-game losing skid with a 3-1 victory over RIT in the Liberty League crossover on Saturday in Saratoga Springs, NY.  With the win, the Saints lock up the number three seed in the conference tournament to be held on Nov. 3-4 at Clarkson University. 

Union Tops Saints in Crucial League Match

Oct. 21: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team suffered a tough 3-1 (25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23) loss against Liberty League opponent Union on Friday night in Schenectady, NY.

Saints Fall to Golden Knights in Four Sets

Oct. 18:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team suffered a four-set loss to Liberty League rival Clarkson University on Tuesday night in Potsdam, NY.  Despite taking the first, the Saints dropped the final three sets as Knights claimed the 3-1 victory by the scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-22 and 26-24.   

Saints Head North After 2-2 Weekend

Oct. 15:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team concluded its southern trip, splitting in its last two matches in Dallas, TX on Saturday.  The Saints, now 17-10 overall (6-2 Liberty League), dropped a tough 3-1 decision to the University of Dallas (21-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-19) before sweeping Southwestern Christian College, 3-0 (25-10, 25-7, 25-9). 

Saints Split in Texas

Oct. 14:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team split on its first day of competition in Dallas, Texas, on Friday.  The Saints handily defeated Dallas Christian College 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-15) before suffering a tough 3-0 loss to Austin College by the narrow scores of 26-24, 25-23, and 25-20.

Texas Matches Available Live!

Oct. 14:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team's matches during its trip to Dallas, TX will be broadcast live through CollegeTVTicket.  The Saints, who enter their Dallas trip with a 15-8 overall record, will take on Dallas Christian College and Austin College today, and follow with matches against the University of Dallas and Southwestern Christian College on Saturday morning.  Don't forget the time difference!  The 3:30 pm match against the Crusaders will be aired at 4:30 pm in the Eastern time zone.  Go Saints!    

Ali Limoncelli ’12 to Blog as Saints Head to Texas

Oct. 12: The St. Lawrence volleyball team is headed to the lone star state this week during the University's mid-semester break.  The Saints will compete in four matches in Dallas, TX beginning on Friday, October 14, and senior Ali Limoncelli will provide a blog throughout the team's trip.
