Newton Breaks Two More Records; Saints Compete in Final Day of States

Feb. 26:  The St. Lawrence University men's and women's swimming and diving teams finaled 13 individuals and two relay teams in the final day of the UNYSCSA Championships hosted by Nazareth College.  Junior Russ Newton broke two University records in the 1650 free and 1000 free previously set in 1984.  He finished seventh in the 1650 free finals.   

Saints Complete Day 3 of States

Feb. 25:  The St. Lawrence University men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed day 3 of the UNYSCSA Championships hosted by Nazareth College.  Highlighting the day was senior Rob Sibley's seventh place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke, while sophomore Jason Dutra posted an eighth place finish in the 100 back finals.   

Saints Complete Day 2 of Competition; Newton Sets School Record in Prelims

Feb. 24:  The St. Lawrence men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed day 2 of the UNYSCSA Championships hosted by Nazareth College.  Highlighting the day was junior Russ Newton's sixth place finish in the 400 IM.  His time of 4:14.99 broke a University record previously set in 1999. 

Saints Compete at Day 1 of States; Abribat Breaks School Record

Feb. 23:  The St. Lawrence University men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in the first day of the UNYSCSA Championships hosted by Nazareth College.  Sophomore Casey Abribat set a new University record in the 200 IM with her time of 2:13.66. 

Saints Sweep Utica

Feb. 5:  The St. Lawrence University men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept the Utica Pioneers in a dual meet on Saturday in Utica, NY. The women won by the score of 113-86, while the men won by the score of 112-93.
