softball News - February, 2013 Archive

Feb. 15:  The St. Lawrence University softball team was picked third in the 2013 Liberty League pre-season coaches' poll with 15 points.  Rensselaer, the 2012 regular-season champion, and Rochester, the tournament champion, were tied atop the poll with 23 points and three first place votes apiece. 

May 2:  Six members of the 2012 St. Lawrence University softball team were awarded All-Conference honors for their performances throughout the season.  First-year student Kyle Plimpton was a First Team choice, while sophomore Leslie Stratton and junior captain Liz McGinley were tabbed for the Second Team.  Sophomore Becky Allen, junior Chelsea Cavellier and first-year student Aisha O'Connor were given Honorable Mention status.
