Saints Sweep Golden Eagles

March 28: The St. Lawrence University softball team swept Elmira College in a non-conference double header at Eldridge Park Stadium on Wednesday night.  The Saints won by the scores of 4-1 and 8-5 to improve to 11-3 on the season, while Elmira fell to 4-2. 

Saints Split on Final Day in Florida

March 16:   The St. Lawrence University softball team split on its last day at the Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, FL.  The Saints, who finished the week 9-3 overall, opened the day with a 5-0 shutout of St. Joseph's College but fell to Richard Stockton in the second game, 8-0, in six innings.

Saints Sweep Lasell, Olivet in Fort Myers

March 15:  The St. Lawrence University softball team improved to 8-2 on Thursday, sweeping its competition at the Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, FL.  In the opening game against Lasell, the Saints scored four unanswered runs in the seventh inning to secure the 6-2 victory.  Against Olivet in the second game, sophomore Becky Allen delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning that gave the Saints the 4-3 win.

Saints Split Against Wooster, Elms in Fort Myers, FL

March 14:  The St. Lawrence University softball team earned a split on Wednesday at the Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, FL.  The Saints, now 6-2 overall, opened the day with a tough 8-1 loss to the College of Wooster, then bounced back to shutout Elms College by the score of 8-0 in six innings. 

Plimpton Throws Perfect Game as Saints Sweep

March 12: First-year student Kyle Plimpton threw a perfect game to lead the St. Lawrence University softball team to its fourth straight win with a sweep on the day. The Saints, now 5-1 overall, opened with a 6-4 win over Curry College, and then earned a walk-off 1-0 victory in eight innings in the nightcap.

Saints Top NYU-Poly, Salem State to Earn Sweep

March 11:  The St. Lawrence University softball team swept its competition at the Gene Cusic Classic on Sunday afternoon in Fort Myers, FL.  The Saints (3-1) opened the day with a 3-1 win over NYU-Polytechnic, and then edged Salem State by the score of 2-1.  

Plimpton’s One-Hit Shutout Fuels Saints Split on Opening Day

March 10:  First-year student Kyle Plimpton pitched a one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in her collegiate debut to help the St. Lawrence University softball team split its opening games in Fort Myers, FL on Saturday. 

Saints to Open 2012 Season in Florida

The St. Lawrence University softball team will kick off its 2012 campaign against SUNY Brockport on Saturday, March 10 in Ft. Myers, Florida for the team's annual spring trip.
