Five Saints Earn All-Conference Honors

May 10:  Five members of the 2011 St. Lawrence University softball team were awarded All-Conference honors for their performance throughout the season.  Sophomore Chelsea Cavellier and first-year student Caroline Kieltyka were Second Team choices, while senior Rachel Duffany and first-year students Rebecca Allen and Leslie Stratton were given Honorable Mention status. 

Saints Fall 6-4 to Rochester in Season Finale

May 7: The St. Lawrence University softball team, competing in the Liberty League Tournament for the first time, saw its 2011 season come to an end on Saturday in Albany, NY.  The University of Rochester took a 4-0 lead and hung on for a 6-4 victory, eliminating the Saints from the conference tournament.

Engineers Drop Saints in Opening Game of Conference Tournament

May 6: The St. Lawrence University softball team lost the opening game of the 2011 Liberty League Tournament in Albany, NY on Friday afternoon to the top-seeded Engineers of Rensselaer at Cummings Haker Field.

Doubleheader vs. Cardinals Canceled Due to Weather

May 3: The St. Lawrence University softball team's regular season finale versus St. John Fisher, scheduled for today, has been canceled due to weather. The doubleheader will not be rescheduled.

Union Tops Saints in Pair of Tight Games, 1-0 and 5-4

May 1: The St. Lawrence University softball team battled Union College in a pair of Liberty League games on Sunday in Schenectady, NY.  The Dutchwomen were able to score the lone run in the 10th inning of a 1-0 pitcher's duel in game one, then used a walk-off single to capture game two, 5-4.
