Seven Saints Voted to Liberty League All-Conference Squads

May 7: Seven members of the 2010 St. Lawrence University softball team were voted to All-Conference squads for their performance throughout this season.  Seniors Molly Swan and Amy Atkins were unanimous First Team choices, while rookie Elizabeth McGinley earned First Team honors at the designated player role.

Dutchwomen Rally to Sweep Saints in 2010 Finale

May 2: The St. Lawrence University softball team played their final contests of the 2010 season on Sunday in Canton, NY against Union College.  The visitors held off St. Lawrence 3-2 in game one, then used a two-run rally in the top of the seventh to force extra innings and win on an inside the park home run to earn the victory 4-3 (8) and the doubleheader sweep.

Skidmore Sweeps Twinbill with Saints, 3-1 and 1-0

May 1: The St. Lawrence University softball team saw its current skid hit seven games on Saturday, as Skidmore College swept the Liberty League games by the scores of 3-1 and 1-0 (9) in Canton, NY.  Junior pitcher Rachel Duffany was outstanding on the mound for the Saints, allowing only one earned run in 16.0 innings pitched, while senior Amy Atkins hit her sixth home run of the year to tie the University single-season record.
