Meng Qualifies for NCAA’s with 11th Place Finish at Regionals

Feb. 23: St. Lawrence University sophomore Nordic skier Austin Meng put the finishing touches on a breakout EISA Carnival season on Saturday, finishing in 11th place in the 15K Freestyle completion at the 2013 NCAA Regional Championships hosted by Bates College. With his finish, Meng has qualified for the 2013 NCAA Championships to be held on March 6-9 at Middlebury College.

Meng Leads Saints in Classic Races at NCAA Regionals

Feb. 22: The St. Lawrence University Nordic ski teams began competition at the 2013 NCAA Regional Championships, hosted by Bates College, on Friday at Black Mountain. Sophomore Austin Meng led the Saints in the classic races, helping the men's team to seventh in the team standings.

Nichols’ Career-Best Finish Leads Saints at Middlebury Carnival

Feb. 16: The St. Lawrence University Nordic ski teams competed in the freestyle races at the 2013 Middlebury Carnival on Saturday afternoon at the Rikert Touring Center. Senior Kelsey Nichols led the women's team behind a career-best 16th place finish in the women's 15k Free.

Frielinghaus Posts Career-Best Finish in 10K Classic

Feb. 15: St. Lawrence University sophomore Nordic skier Will Frielinghaus picked up his career-best finish on Friday in the men's 10k Classic at the 2013 Middlebury Carnival at the Rikert Touring Center. The Queensbury, NY native's first collegiate top-20 helped the Saints men's team to seventh place in the carnival standings.

Saints Compete in 3x5 Free Relays at Dartmouth Carnival

Feb. 9: The St. Lawrence University Nordic ski teams competed in the 3x5k Relays on Saturday on day two of the 2013 Dartmouth Carnival. The underclassmen trio of Austin Meng, Will Frielinghaus and Kyle Curry paced the teams, finishing sixth in the team standings with 68.0 points.

Meng Continues Impressive Run at Dartmouth Carnival

Feb. 8: St. Lawrence University sophomore Nordic skier Austin Meng continued his string of impressive showings on Friday at the 2013 Dartmouth Carnival. Meng earned his third consecutive top-12 finish, this one in the men's 10K classic, leading the Saints to sixth place in the team standings.

Feb. 3: St. Lawrence University sophomore Nordic skier Austin Meng propelled himself into the mix for a berth to the 2013 NCAA Championships on Sunday with his first collegiate top-10 finish at the UVM Carnival.

Feb. 2: The St. Lawrence University Nordic ski teams competed in the 5k and 10k freestyle races at the 2013 UVM Carnival at the Trapp Family Lodge. Austin Meng paced the Saints in 12th place overall in the 10k, the best finish of his collegiate career.
