Funch, Ramsey Help Saint Men to NYSCTC Championship

Senior Chris Funch won two events and anchored the title clinching relay and classmate Dan Ramsey was named the men's Running Event Performer of the Meet after his second win as St. Lawrence University's men's track team made an early move on the field with a big showing in the mile and went on to win its fourth New York State Collegiate Track Conference indoor championship in the last five years at the Newell Field House on Saturday afternoon.

St. Lawrence University's men's indoor track and field team sits second, just 2.5 points behind Ithaca College after day one of the 2011 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Indoor Championships being held at SLU's Newell Field House.

Kiplagat, 4x800 Relay Are Winners at Denault Invitational

St. Lawrence University athletes came through with impressive performances in the mid-distance and distance events at Cornell's annual Denault Invitational on Saturday, setting the Saints up for a good showing at the upcoming NYSCTC Indoor Championships which will be held at the Newell Field House Friday and Saturday.

Saints Dominate On Track for Liberty League Title

Seniors Dan Ramsey and Will Mosenthal each won individual events and ran on the winning Distance Medley Relay to help St. Lawrence University's men's indoor track and field team to the 2011 Liberty League Indoor Track and Field Championship at Hamilton College on Saturday.

Roberts Meets ECAC Qualifying in 3 Events at Super Dual Saturday

Junior Jarell Roberts won both the 55 meters and 200 meters, qualifying for the ECAC Championships in both events, and was part of the Saint 4x200 relay, which won in a ECAC qualifying time to lead the Saint men's indoor track and field team at  Super Dual Saturday at the Newell Field House which included Oswego, Plattsburgh and Nazareth.
