Timpone and first-year student Sam Mullin were narrowly defeated by RIT's Alex
Russin and Adam Wolf by the score of 8-6 in the "B" flight doubles final.
Sept 18: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team competed in the first day of the 2011 SLU Fall Classic. Sophomore Matt Burke and first-year student Sam Mullin both battled back from one set down to defeat their opponents in the quarterfinals of the "B" and "C" flights, respectively.
Sept. 11: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team
lost its third consecutive match of the weekend, 5-3, to RIT on Sunday morning
in the 2011 Flower City Tournament seventh place match.
