Saints Close SLU Fall Classic as Jackley and Dexter Win Finals

Sept. 20: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team wrapped up the "Fall Classic" individual tournament Sunday at the Sammis Tennis Courts in Canton, NY.  St. Lawrence first-year Philip Jackley had an impressive performance, winning the "B" Singles final 6-4, 2-6 (10-7) against Jordan Petit of Hamilton College, as well as the "B" Doubles final with team mate junior Jake Dexter in a close 8-6 match against Larry Hall and Adam Wolf of RIT. 

McDonald, Jackley Impress on Opening Day of 2009 Fall Classic

Sept. 19: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team opened competition at its annual "Fall Classic" individual tournament on Saturday morning at the Sammis Tennis Courts in Canton, NY.  St. Lawrence senior captain Chris McDonald and first-year student Philip Jackley advanced to the semifinals of the "B" Singles draw, while Jackley and teammate Jake Dexter advanced to the semis in the "B" Doubles bracket.

Saints Drop Golden Flyers on final day of Flower-City Tournament, 7-2

Sept. 13: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team finished off the Flower-City Tournament at Nazareth College on a high note, beating Nazareth 7-2 on Sunday. After struggling in their first matches against Hobart and RIT due to injuries on Saturday, the Saints looked strong against the Golden Flyers.
