DeMello, Saints Open 2012 with 3-0 Victory

Aug. 31:  Senior midfielder Sam DeMello scored a pair of goals, both on direct kicks from nearly identical spots outside the 18-yard box, only three-plus minutes apart as the St. Lawrence University men's soccer team topped Endicott College 3-0 in its season opener at the LOTTO North Country Classic Friday afternoon in Potsdam, NY. 

No. 2 Saints to Open 2012 at LOTTO Classic

Aug. 31:  The nationally ranked #2 St. Lawrence University men's soccer team is set to open its 2012 campaign this weekend at the Lotto Classic hosted by Clarkson University.  While the Saints returned more regional and national All-Americans than seen in the past, head coach Bob Durocher believes that the team's success will only come when the reserve group of players competes at a level just below the starters. 

Saints Ranked No. 2 in Preseason Poll

August 8:  The St. Lawrence University men's soccer team will open its 2012 season ranked No. 2 in the national rankings, as the Saints are picked in that spot in the NSCAA Preseason Poll.   Defending champions Ohio Wesleyan earned the No. 1 slot, while Messiah, Rutgers-Camden and Trinity (Texas) rounded out the top five.

Kristine Lilly showcased at Lake Placid Soccer Camp

Aug. 6: The 2012 Lake Placid Soccer Camp at St. Lawrence University will be a memorable one for the 400+ campers who attended in late July, thanks to Kristine Lilly.  Lilly, one of the all-time greats in women's soccer and former captain of the United States, worked alongside Alfred Galustian and Charlie Cooke of Coerver Coaching during the sessions, and was honored by the local Canton community with "Kristine Lilly Day" on July 22nd.
